GI Is Our Why
Our purpose is to transform the lives of people living with gastrointestinal disorders. This is why we exist. It’s what drives every one of us every day — whether we’re advancing a new trial to life, supporting our sponsors, or solving challenges behind the scenes.
More Than a CRO
Our roots in academic GI research support everything we do. Through decades of collaboration with experts in academia and industry, we’re able to combine scientific depth and operational excellence with hands-on delivery and personalized services — creating standardized central reading, validated endpoints, and imaging innovations now widely used across global GI trials.
We continue to pioneer innovative research methodologies, validated endpoints, and trial designs that raise the standard for GI clinical development.
Mission:
We bring that purpose to life through pioneering GI research and innovative clinical trial development. We’re not just managing trials; we’re advancing science. With deep GI expertise, relentless curiosity, and a commitment to advancing gastrointestinal science, we shape and deliver solutions that make a real impact for patients.
Our Logo:
Our logo, symbolized by an enduring olive tree, profoundly links to our commitment to a 100-year view. Just like the olive tree, which has persisted through the cultivation of seeds over two millennia, our organization stands resilient in our commitment to advancing GI research and improving patient care.

Alimentiv’s Global Reach
Our site network is global, helping you activate sites with the right patients, experience, and infrastructure.
With worldwide reach and capabilities, we connect you to investigators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and patient organizations that further optimize your research.
Our Partnerships
Progress in GI research is the result of collective work. We partner with academic centers, imaging societies (e.g., IBUS), patient advocacy groups such as the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, EUREOS, and Beyond Celiac community to help shape the future of GI care.
Key Collaborations
- STAR: An ongoing collaboration with a consortium focused on transforming the treatment of Crohn’s disease strictures and developing diagnostic tools
- IBUS: The International Bowel Ultrasound Group, a leader in advancing the use of intestinal ultrasound (IUS) in IBD clinical trials and in developing methods to quantify its value in disease assessment and outcomes monitoring
- EUREOS: A European consortium of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving the care of patients with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) through promoting research, harmonization of clinical practices, and awareness
- Beyond Celiac: A leading patient advocacy organization focused on accelerating research for a cure, raising awareness, and driving earlier diagnosis and treatment for those living with celiac disease
Key Affiliations
- Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC): Develops data standards that improve medical research; Alimentiv is a Platinum Member, Registered Solutions Provider, and serves on the Industry Advisory Board
- The Applied Biostatistics Association (TABA): A professional group of applied biostatisticians and pharmaceutical researchers that has conducted seminars for 25+ years to support development and idea-sharing
- Statistical Society of Canada (SSC): Its mission is to encourage the development and use of statistics and probability
